Welcome! Week 1 starts tomorrow!

Many thanks to Traci and Mom who've often asked when we were going to start this up, and kudos to all of you who've already made the jump and have started making changes/getting healthy.  You're an inspiration!

Feeling Great in Eight is an 8-week program that is meant to help you start or remember healthy habits, everything from drinking enough water to saying daily prayers to getting exercise.  You get points for good choices and lose points (or just don't gain points) when you don't.  No one else is keeping track of your points, so you  might as well be honest with yourself. :)  Visit the "How the points work,"  "Good Foods List," and "Bad Foods List" pages on the right for details on earning points.  I plan on printing these out and posting them in our house somewhere so I don't have to get online all the time! 

The Feeling Great in 8 program will begin tomorrow, January 9th.  You'll report your Week 1 scores the following Monday, on January 16th. 

I think I've invited every family to be an author on the blog--if not, let me know!  If you definitely want to participate and report your scores, let me know and I'll make sure there's a "page" added just for you.  So far I just have Mom, Derrick, Traci, and me on there, but everyone is welcome! :)  Oh, and check your email--I'll be sending out a chart today to help you keep track of your scores.
